About the Role:
Join Safe Space Residential as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. Our team is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that promotes mental wellness and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Connecting clients to resources in the community.
- Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual and group sessions with clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
- Educate clients and families on mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a mental health professional in Virginia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
